In the poem, everything goes according to schedule. Nature is well-ordered. Springtime arrives. Morning comes at seven. Creatures all do what they should. The attitude seems to be that as long as things work out like we expect them to and follow their natural course, it can be attributed to God being in control. God is doing His job.
This is a piece of verse that I have used much in my life. It describes to me a perfect day or moment. The message that Browning probably meant to convey in that passage is interesting. The wonderful thing about it is that even if things really suck, one moment can be right. Or the color of the green trees against the sky. Or maybe one of my kids will randomly text me that they love me.

Made from quality ceramic. I think overall it's a good mug. I just wish the color went all the way around, including the handle. Instead, it's all blue but white where the handle is. This is just my personal preference so someone could like it the way it is.

Pippa Passes is a verse drama by Robert Browning. It was published in as the first volume of his Bells and Pomegranates series, in a low-priced two-column edition for sixpence and next republished in Poems [ clarification needed ] in , which received much more critical attention. It was dedicated to Thomas Noon Talfourd , who had recently attained fame as the author of the tragedy Ion. The author described the work as "the first of a series of dramatic pieces". A young, blameless silk-winding girl is wandering innocently through the environs of Asolo , in her mind attributing kindness and virtue to the people she passes. She sings as she goes, her song influencing others to act for the good—or, at the least, reminding them of the existence of a moral order.

Pippa's Song and this line in particular caused Browning many problems because a lot of people just heard the line and didn't consider it within the context it was written. Pippa, in the poem , knew that everything wasn't all right with the world, she was an exploited orphan girl who had to work long hours in terrible conditions. When you look at the whole poem, it should be taken to mean that despite all the evil and injustice in the world, we can still believe that God is there, and thus all is right with the world.
